Terms & Conditions

The general terms and conditions that apply to maintenance and repair work Zimex Aviation Ltd carries out for customers. The PDF below is the binding text; this page is a summary of what it covers.

What they cover

Work orders
The GTC apply to all customer work orders unless otherwise agreed in writing. Work orders become binding only on written confirmation by Zimex.
Scope of services
Maintenance and repair of aircraft and components, including spare parts, under Zimex’s Statement of Work and EASA Part-145. Unforeseen work needs the customer’s written approval before it starts.
Turn times
Turn times are provisional unless Zimex declares them binding in writing.
Warranty
Six months after completion or 350 flight hours, whichever occurs first, for defects in workmanship.
Liability and insurance
Liability is limited to gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Customers maintain hull all-risks and legal liability insurance naming Zimex.
Prices and payment
Prices are estimates unless fixed in writing, net ex works. Invoices are payable immediately; complaints within 30 days.
Law and arbitration
Swiss law. Disputes go to arbitration in Zurich, in English, under the Swiss Rules.
